A New York City teenager has been busted for stealing two FedEx packages worth $97,000 on Long Island using a fake ID, police said Monday, May 18.
Denys Hryshchenko, 18, of Staten Island, was arrested around 7 a.m. and charged with first-degree identity theft, second-degree possession of a forged instrument, second-degree grand larceny and unlawful possession of identifying information, the Nassau County Police Department said.

Jenry Buestan Gutama, 23, was operating the postal vehicle in East Hampton with the teen victim as a passenger, the East Hampton Town Police Department said Friday, May 15.
The teen victim was familiar with Buestan Gutama, investigators said. After the assault, she immediately reported the incident to school officials, who contacted police, according to authorities.

A Long Island woman was busted for drunk driving after crashing her car near the beach over the weekend, police said.
Paula Constant, 59, was found at the scene of a crash on Dune Road in Hampton Bays around 9:50 p.m. Saturday, May 16, the Southampton Town Police Department said.
Constant, of Westhampton Beach, was arrested at the scene after investigators determined she was drunk, cops said. She was arraigned Sunday, May 17.

Ramzee Mayo, 47, was near the Meadowbrook State Parkway overpass above Front Street in East Meadow when three male bike riders, ages 20, 18, and 17, encountered him around 4:30 p.m., the Nassau County Police Department said.
