Brandon Arsenault, 26, placed a water bottle containing a liquid, a mason jar top with a battery terminal, a battery, and red and green wires inside the book exchange at Colonie Mohawk River Park on Saturday, May 16, the Colonie Police Department said.

Two men were killed and three others were critically injured after an SUV crashed into a group of pedestrians in Manhattan Friday night, May 15, police said.
The crash happened around 6 p.m. near West 109th Street and Amsterdam Avenue.
