Two men have been arrested and charged with pilfering a gym locker room in Wall, authorities announced Wednesday, May 6.
A series of thefts occurred at Genesis Health Club at 1904 Atlantic Ave. and detectives identified Andrew Cosenza, a 26-year-old Manasquan resident and Edward Byham, a 35-year-old Howell resident as the suspects, Wall Township police said.

A fired delivery driver is accused of slashing tires on nearly 30 Amazon delivery vehicles, stealing key fobs, and trying to hide evidence in a river, authorities said.
Anthony Gillio of Cape Coral, Florida, was arrested on Friday, May 1, the Lee County Sheriff's Office said. The 22-year-old was charged with grand theft of between $5,000 and $10,000, two counts of criminal mischief, and tampering with evidence.

At 4:21 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, police responded to the area of the Freehold Borough Public Library for a report of gunshots, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said. Daughter Steals $280K From Elderly NJ Mom In Bank Scheme, Cops Say
An elderly woman reported more than $280,000 stolen by her own daughter in a bank scheme, authorities in Bergen County said Tuesday, May 5.
The victim told police on Nov. 20, 2025 that her daughter, Ayelet A. Weiss, 57, of Harrisburg, PA, took her to the bank and transferred the contents of her accounts into a business account owned by Weiss, Edgewater Police Capt. Tim Farrell said.
Weiss told the victim the money was being placed into a trust, which never occurred, Farrell said.
