Details Released In Deadly Northern Westchester Crash An 85-year-old man was killed in a single-car crash Thursday morning, May 14, in Northern Westchester, according to New York State Police. Gerard M. McKenna, of Somers, was heading east in a 2013 Honda on West Hill Drive toward Warren Street when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree at approximately 11:30 a.m., NYSP said. McKenna, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. The investigation remains ongoing.
