Flooding and heavy rain closed roads across New Jersey Saturday, March 23. According to the National Weather Service, the heaviest part of the storm may have passed. The flooding, however, has not. Tesla Rear-Ends Box Truck On NJ Turnpike: State Police
A box truck crash on the New Jersey Turnpike held up traffic Tuesday afternoon, March 11. An Isuzu box truck parked on the right shoulder of the northbound lanes was rear-ended by a Tesla passenger vehicle, also heading north, which had lost control around 1:15 p.m., New Jersey State Police Trooper Troy McNair said. It happened at milepost 109.7 in Kearny Township. Minor injuries were reported and both drivers were taken to an area hospital. The crash remains under investigation and there is no additional information available.

A Florida man wanted in New Jersey, fleeing from Pennsylvania State Police in Jonestown has caused an "active police incident" on Interstate 81, Trooper Megan Frazer said on Thursday. Jimmy Lee Fancy, 35, of Daytona, FL was wanted on "warrants for firearm violations from New Jersey as well as other active warrants in Pennsylvania," Trooper Frazer stated in a release. A Hyundai SUV was heading west on the highway when a Ford traveling on the on ramp from Route 206 south around 4:30 p.m. in Mount Olive, NJSP Sgt. Charles Marchan said.
