A family trip overseas has turned into a desperate search. James "Weston" Higginbotham, a 20-year-old Auburn University student from Hoover, Alabama, was last seen on surveillance video in Kyoto, Japan, on Friday, May 29, during a family vacation. A dozen people were sickened in a gastrointestinal illness outbreak aboard a National Geographic cruise, federal health officials said. The outbreak happened on the National Geographic Sea Bird, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said on Monday, June 1. The Alaskan cruise departed on Tuesday, May 26, and returned to port on Sunday, May 31.
