A Massachusetts man faces nearly two dozen charges after police say he carried out a string of brutal assaults over several months that left a victim hospitalized with injuries so severe they required multiple surgeries to repair the damage.
Robert Copper, 32, of Webster, is accused of strangling and assaulting a victim multiple times, hitting them with objects, and holding them against their will, according to police.

A fired delivery driver is accused of slashing tires on nearly 30 Amazon delivery vehicles, stealing key fobs, and trying to hide evidence in a river, authorities said.
Anthony Gillio of Cape Coral, Florida, was arrested on Friday, May 1, the Lee County Sheriff's Office said. The 22-year-old was charged with grand theft of between $5,000 and $10,000, two counts of criminal mischief, and tampering with evidence.
