A New Jersey State Superior Court judge found him not guilty of trespassing last week, reversing the conviction he received from Sayreville Municipal Court. At 11:43 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, officers responded to the 600 block of New York Avenue and found the 16-year-old girl with life-threatening injuries, Atlantic City police said. Hiker Rescued After Breaking Leg At Washington Overlook Park: West Amwell FD A hiker at Washington Overlook Park had to be rescued after they broke their leg Saturday, June 6, authorities said. At 1:16 p.m., firefighters responded to the park and found the injured patient after hiking 1.5 miles, the West Amwell Fire Department said. Additional first responders went into the woods and established a staging area, cutting down several trees to facilitate passage, firefighters said. Motorcyclist Injured After Striking Bear On Route 78: Njsp A 31-year-old Phillipsburg man was hospitalized after he struck a bear on Route 78 in Hunterdon County on Saturday, June 7, authorities said. At 11:21 p.m., troopers responded to Route 78 West in Clinton Township after a bear entered the roadway and was struck Harley-Davidson motorcycle traveling west, Christopher Postorino, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The motorcycle overturned and ejected the driver, Postorino said. The driver was  transported to an area hospital, Postorino said. The crash remains under investigation, Postorino said.
