A Connecticut man faces more criminal charges after police say customers paid for airport limousine rides that never showed up or that he failed to give them their money back in some instances. Mitch T. Kloter, 26, of Plainville, was arrested Friday, May 1, on counts of second-degree larceny and two counts of illegal operation of a livery motor vehicle, South Windsor police said. Police said a 35-year-old man who was struck by a vehicle in Waterbury over the weekend was in critical condition on Monday, May 4, authorities said. The crash happened just before 9:30 p.m. Sunday, May 3, at East Main Street and William Street. Waterbury police did not say what led up to the pedestrian-vs-sedan crash. A Greenwich woman will serve time in federal prison after prosecutors say she helped carry out a long-running scheme with her brother that drained more than $1.2 million from state treasuries across the country. Patricia White, 70, was sentenced Monday to nine months behind bars. A Massachusetts couple has been indicted on charges that they kept thousands of dollars from an unhoused man after creating a GoFundMe they said was to help him. Rachel Kadis, 31, and Brian G.
