A suspected burglary at a vacant Connecticut home ended with a foot chase, extensive property damage, and two men behind bars, according to police.
Mathew Jones, 46, of Waterbury, and Reginald Leach, 45, of Hartford, are facing multiple felony charges after police said they were caught inside the vacant home during the break-in, Windsor Locks police said. Jones was arrested after a foot chase through neighboring yards, while Leach was found hiding behind a shower curtain in a downstairs bathtub.

A 21-year-old Connecticut man was killed after being thrown from his motorcycle and down an embankment during a weekend crash, authorities said.
Dylan Owen Keefe was riding a Harley-Davidson on Saturday, June 7, along Gilead Street (Route 85) in Hebron, when his motorcycle collided with a 2011 Subaru Legacy that was turning left into a driveway, according to Connecticut State Police.
Keefe, of Hebron, was attempting to pass the Subaru on the left when the collision occurred, causing him to be thrown from the motorcycle, state police said.

New Britain Man Sentenced In Kidnapping, Killing Of Massachusetts Father
A Connecticut man will spend 43 years in prison for the kidnapping and killing of a Massachusetts father whose body was found bound inside a car in a Somers field.
Timothy Lange, 36, of New Britain, was sentenced June 3 to 48 years in prison, suspended after 43 years to serve, followed by five years of probation, according to Tolland Judicial District State's Attorney Craig P. Nowak.
The sentence stems from the kidnapping and death of Jason Comes, a Massachusetts father.
