A Connecticut man who repeatedly sexually assaulted a child from the time she was 6 years old until she was 16 has been sentenced to prison, prosecutors said. Demarres Taft Sr., 46, was sentenced to 20 years in prison on June 9, with that sentence being suspended after 15 years, according to New Haven Judicial District State's Attorney John P.
